And dessert was always sort of been my destiny…

I grew up in a family where dessert was always the focus. My Greek grandparents owned an ice cream shop where every recipe was homemade. I grew up watching my Yia Yia Bea whip up delicious, authentic Greek pastries with ease. On the other side, my French Grandma Pauline’s kitchen always smelled of freshly baked pies and cookies. My mom Diane makes the best chocolate chip cookies in the world (ask anyone who’s had one) and growing up she and my Dad made all of my birthday cakes from scratch. Holidays were always filled with the best sweets, and I loved learning how to bake from the people I love.

In 2011 after college I moved home and got an office job. As a very creative person, I needed an outlet after sitting at the desk all day. I started experimenting in the kitchen with cake during my free time after work, and the cake ball business was born! I started baking for family, then friends, then for friends of friends. I was providing sweets for graduation parties, showers, weddings, and I built my business one brick—or should I say—one sweet bite at a time!

Creating pretty and delicious desserts makes me happy, and I revel in the excitement of that first bite of cake or the break of a freshly baked cookie. Dessert may come last but it’s the first thing people remember about a party! That being said, I know how important it is to have a delicious sweet that pleases everyone and I guarantee you, our freshly baked goods are guaranteed to make your guests happy!
